Effective date: 19 September 2026 Version: 1.0
These terms and conditions (the Terms) apply when you create or use a free Basic membership account on the Pull Shooting website or app (the Service).
Please read these Terms before creating an account. By registering for a Basic membership, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, you must not create or use an account.
1. About Pull Shooting
The Service is operated by Joshua Boyes trading as Pull Shooting (Pull Shooting, we, us or our).
Our contact details are:
Joshua Boyes trading as Pull Shooting 8 Bear Close Woodstock Oxfordshire OX20 1JS Email: hello@pullshooting.co.uk
2. Who may create an account
You must be at least 16 years old to create or use a Pull Shooting account.
If you are aged 16 or 17, you must have permission from your parent or legal guardian before creating an account or using the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you have that permission. We may ask for reasonable evidence of your age or that permission.
You must not create an account for another person unless you are legally authorised to do so.
3. Your Basic membership
Basic membership is currently provided free of charge. It gives you access to the features that we make available to Basic members from time to time.
Some features may only be available through a paid membership, may depend on a participating shooting ground, or may be introduced, changed or removed as the Service develops. We will not move you onto a paid membership or take payment from you without your express agreement.
Your membership is personal to you and must not be sold, transferred or shared with another person.
4. Creating and protecting your account
You must provide accurate, current and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for:
• keeping your sign-in details secure;
• activity carried out through your account, except where caused by something for which we are legally responsible; and
• telling us promptly at hello@pullshooting.co.uk if you believe somebody has accessed your account without permission.
You must not impersonate another person, create misleading accounts, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to another account or any restricted part of the Service.
5. Using the Service
You may use the Service only for lawful, personal use in connection with clay shooting and related activities.
You must not:
• misuse, disrupt, damage or interfere with the Service or its security;
• introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful material;
• attempt to bypass access controls, membership restrictions or security measures;
• scrape, copy, reverse engineer or commercially exploit the Service except where the law expressly permits it;
• submit information that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene or infringes another person's rights;
• manipulate scores, competition information, attendance records or other data dishonestly; or
• use the Service in a way that could harm Pull Shooting, a shooting ground, another user or any third party.
6. Shooting safety and legal compliance
Pull Shooting is a scoring, statistics and shooting-ground information service. It does not supervise shooting, certify that a person is competent or legally entitled to shoot, or replace professional instruction, risk assessments, ground rules or the directions of ground staff.
When taking part in shooting activities, you are responsible for:
• complying with all applicable laws, licence or certificate conditions and age restrictions;
• following the rules, safety procedures and instructions of the relevant shooting ground and its staff;
• using suitable equipment and appropriate personal protective equipment;
• handling and using firearms and ammunition safely and lawfully; and
• stopping immediately and seeking help if an activity or situation appears unsafe.
Never use or look at the Service when doing so would distract you from safely handling a firearm or following a safety instruction. A firearm must be made safe before you enter, review or change information on a device.
The inclusion of a shooting ground, event, competition, tuition provider or other third party in the Service is not a guarantee or endorsement of its safety, quality, availability or suitability.
7. Scores, statistics and other information
Scores, statistics, rankings, records, ground information, stand information, competition details and other content shown in the Service may be entered by users, shooting grounds or other third parties.
You are responsible for checking information before relying on it. Unless expressly confirmed by the relevant organiser, information shown in the Service must not be treated as an official competition result, governing-body record, safety instruction or legal record.
Although we take reasonable care in operating the Service, we cannot guarantee that all information will always be accurate, complete, current or free from errors. If you notice an error, please tell us or the relevant shooting ground.
8. Ground sessions, groups and competitions
Where the Service allows you to create, host, join or score a session, group or competition:
• the relevant shooting ground or organiser remains responsible for running the activity and enforcing its rules;
• the host or scorer is responsible for entering results carefully and correcting known mistakes where the Service allows;
• joining through the Service does not guarantee admission, availability, a place in an event or permission to shoot; and
• any entry fees, cancellations, refunds, eligibility rules or disputes relating to the activity are matters between you and the relevant shooting ground or organiser unless Pull Shooting expressly states otherwise.
9. Content you submit
You retain ownership of content that you submit to the Service, such as profile information, scores and other entries.
You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve and provide the Service. This licence ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except where we must retain it for legal, security, backup or legitimate record-keeping purposes.
You confirm that you have the right to submit your content and that our permitted use of it will not infringe another person's rights.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, branding, software, text, graphics and other content supplied by us, belongs to Pull Shooting or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law.
We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are transferred to you.
11. Availability and changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available and working properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Access may be affected by maintenance, updates, internet or mobile coverage, device limitations, third-party services or events outside our reasonable control.
Offline features and later synchronisation may not always be available or successful. You should check that important scores or session information have saved and synchronised correctly.
We may update, improve, restrict, suspend or withdraw parts of the Service. Where a change materially disadvantages Basic members, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable.
12. Suspension or closure by us
We may restrict, suspend or close your account if we reasonably believe that:
• you have seriously or repeatedly breached these Terms;
• your account is being used unlawfully, fraudulently or in a way that creates a security or safety risk;
• doing so is necessary to protect Pull Shooting, its users, shooting grounds or third parties; or
• we are required to do so by law.
Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue or appeal the decision. We may act immediately where necessary for safety, security, legal compliance or to prevent harm.
13. Closing your account
You may stop using the Service and request closure of your account at any time through the available account settings or by emailing hello@pullshooting.co.uk.
Account closure and deletion of personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and any legal or legitimate retention requirements. Closing your Basic account does not affect rights or responsibilities that arose before closure.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information. You should read it before creating an account.
Any optional marketing choice must be presented separately. Agreeing to these Terms does not by itself mean that you agree to receive marketing communications.
15. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
We are responsible for losses that you suffer if they are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for:
• losses that were not foreseeable when you accepted these Terms;
• business losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue or loss of business opportunity arising from personal use of the Service;
• the acts, omissions, facilities, equipment, rules, events or services of shooting grounds, instructors, organisers or other third parties; or
• loss or corruption of user-entered information where this was not caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
The Service is provided for personal and recreational use. You remain responsible for making safe and lawful decisions at all times.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, the law, security requirements or the way we operate.
If a change is material, we will give you reasonable notice through the Service, by email or by another appropriate method. The updated Terms will state their effective date. If you do not agree to a material change, you may stop using the Service and close your account before it takes effect.
17. Transfer of these Terms
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation, for example if the ownership or operation of Pull Shooting changes. We will tell you if this happens and ensure that the transfer does not reduce your rights under these Terms.
You may transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms only with our written agreement.
18. General legal terms
If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.
If we do not enforce a provision immediately, that does not prevent us from enforcing it later.
These Terms are between you and us. No other person has the right to enforce them.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact us first at hello@pullshooting.co.uk so that we can try to resolve it.
If you live in England or Wales, you may bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you may bring proceedings in Scotland or England. If you live in Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in Northern Ireland or England.
